Experimental

Emnes Lab

Our playground for exploring new ideas, prototyping plugins, and pushing WordPress boundaries.

What We're Working On

These are active experiments. Some will become products, some will be open-sourced, and some will remain explorations.

A lightweight, privacy-focused analytics plugin built for WooCommerce stores.

In Progress

Research

Real-time Core Web Vitals tracking and automated performance regression alerts for WordPress sites.

How We Work

Every experiment follows the same three-phase process, from spark to release.

1

Ideate

We identify pain points in the WordPress ecosystem and brainstorm solutions. The best ideas come from real client projects and community feedback.

2

Prototype

Rapid, focused builds to validate assumptions. We test with real data, gather feedback early, and iterate quickly before committing to full development.

3

Ship

Proven experiments graduate into production-ready plugins or open-source tools. We document everything and maintain what we release.

Contribute

Emnes Lab is partly open-source, and we welcome contributions from the WordPress community. Whether you want to submit code, report bugs, or pitch an entirely new experiment, we'd love to hear from you.

Open Source at Heart

Many of our experiments graduate into open-source tools for the WordPress community. Star our repos, open issues, or submit a pull request -- every contribution makes the ecosystem stronger.
